Elephants good; Donkeys bad.

Ramblin'

Kind of bored, so I’m just going to ramble….I’m at the kids Bushido class currently. Dropped them off, then left to pickup the sign-up sheet that Kristina Nobles had given me to enter in the computer to maintain the class contact, phone, e-mail list – I had left it at home and she needed the hardcopy. So, I went back home to pick it up. Inline with mine and Jenny’s accountability setup, I called to let her know I was leaving class to run home, but nobody answered the phone at home. Rolled in and the door was unlocked, but nobody at home. (Aaron, Madison and Zion Beck were staying with us while Beth drove to pickup Glynn from the hospital a couple of hours (?) away. Apparently, Glynn was injured at work today – in the field – on the job. As I type, it’s my understanding that he cut about a 6 inch gash in his forearm with a utility knife. I finally saw Jen and the Beck’s kiddo’s across the pond with Glory as I was leaving the house to head back to Bushido class.

Just jumped off topic while talking to Susan from Bushido. She’s a blackbelt in jiu jitsu and maybe Karate as well? I’m not sure. (Susan, if you read this, let me know.) She brought a “Great Adventures” Bible Fun! Noah’s Ark thingy for our kids and a wooden dog bookends thing. Talked to her and it kind of hit me that she’s single (I know several believing, single guys.) Food for thought. Must love animals (cats, horses, and travel.)

Would be awesome to see good, bible-believing single folks meet, form a relationship and find a lifelong partner. I’d love for God to use me as a catalyst to see that happen for Susan, Rusty, Rodney, Fred, David Emory…..

Beth and Jenny are supposed to go (for Beth’s birthday gift to Jenny) to Bardstown, KY this weekend for a train dinner ride. Should be a lot of fun, relaxation for the both of them – and they get to use our new Saturn Outlook for the trip, so I know they are excited about that (XM satellite radio is over-rated in my opinion… only 3 Christian stations, and only one of them is contemporary…)

Ok, class is over. Out.
