Perspective

This photo of a Russian man holding his injured son who escaped from the seized school in Beslan Russia really got me. To think that something like that could happen to my children puts things in perspective for me. I am shamefully ignorant of Chechnyan rebels and what that issue is all about. How could people be so cruel and evil to advance their cause? Just look at this little boys face - 'I don't understand... Why did this happen to me and my friends? What did we do wrong?'



2 Cor 4:4 - The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Romans 6:20 - When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

That pretty well sums it up.
