Elephants good; Donkeys bad.

Ouch.

One of the guys in the Wild at Heart study called me to let me know that he didn't think he'd be able to make it to the study tonight. He was at Lowe's today, doing a favor for a friend by picking up some sheetrock. He was lifting a slab off the pile and one slid out of his hands falling vertically and slamming on top of his toes. Long story short, his toes are in bad shape; he got Loritab from his doctor and shouldn't be driving. I offered to pick him up and, of course, since guys don't like to let other guys do anything for them or to inconvenience anyone else - (you guys know who you are), he told me he couldn't ask me to do that. I told him he didn't ask, I was offering, and asked where to pick him up! This is such an incredibly small thing, but it feels good to help someone out, even in the least of things.

After all, "Amazing love, how can it be, that you, my king, should die for me."
