Elephants good; Donkeys bad.

Garage

Jenny cleaned out the garage yesterday. Those six words may not sound like a whole lot to you, but I guess you didn't see our garage.

Can't wait until the next garage sale. We should rake it in.

My cousin Eric offered to come to our house with some implements of destruction and dig out an area so that we can put the kids swingset toward the back of the yard and plant a garden on the other side. We'll brace up the sides with lumber - it should work out well. He says we'll need to wait until everything is very dry, then he can start. I'm ready to get that going because Jen and the kids planted a bunch of seeds in some little starter boxes, and they are growing very well!

Once we get the stuff in the backyard done then we can move forward on pouring concrete along the side of the house for an extended driveway upon which we can place a yard barn. They have one at Sam's that is sweet - it's only 7' wide, which would work out perfect for along the side of our house. I like that idea because it's made of that rubbermaid? molded plastic stuff that we can take apart and take with us if we move - AND it already has a floor. Problem is, we have a Lowe's card with the credit for the yard barn we took back that Don and Betty had bought us for Christmas. I'm thinking we'll use that for the lumber and stuff to shore up the yard when we dig out the flat area.
