Men's Group Started meeting "regularly" with the guys who were in my group during the "Wild at Heart" study. Based on the selected locale for this mornings meeting you'd think everyone in my group was 50 years old or above - Bob Evans. Six of the seven guys who showed interest in hooking up were there: Gary Monroe, Jeff Cazel, Tim O'Brien, Rob Poole, Scott Laugel and myself. Allen Beliles had indicated he would be there, but didn't make it. Nearly everyone has expressed interest in helping out during the next Wild at Heart study at CFC which is starting on Feb 3rdish. (I recommend taking this course - and working through the workbook.) It's kind of funny how different personality styles deal with a new "men's get-together." We have a couple guys who are all lion personality and have a structured, focused, let's acccomplish something mentality. Then there are the otters who just want to meet up for the fellowship and comraderie. I'm pretty much the beaver personality who brings the notepad and pen and plans on e-mailing everyone about our next meeting. Anyway, we're still trying to figure out why we should continue to meet. All I know is that meeting up with a group of Christian brothers in the name of our Lord is a great way to start off the day!
